G324 - Final Cut

This is the final cut of our music video.

G324 - Rough Cut 3 and Feedback

 -Guitar shot before dog is better
-Continuity issue
-Background gap issue behind male singer
-Some shots are quite long
-Great lip syncing
-Pace works well with song
-Performance shots are generally really good
-Running after dog shot is a bit dark
-Shot walking with the dog and sunset behind is a bit shaky
-Nice pan of fire
-Add one more walking dog shot-the other two are a little too long
-Great syncing and performance shots
-Christmas scene looks better
-Story is clear
-Slight colour corrections are needed- mainly at the start
-Some sort of filter needed
-Some outdoor shots are a bit darker than others
-Good lighting
-Nice panning shots

From this feedback we are definitely going to change the colouring and sort out the brightness of some outdoor shots. We are also going to try and add some sort of filter over our video to give it a better look. We will also sort out the continuity issue with the hand on the microphone with the female singer and will crop the shot where you can see a gap in the background.

 -Happy that the shell shot has gone
-When one of the band members is playing the guitar you are not able to see all of the guitar and the shot is too long.
-Beach scene is much better
-Lovely comedic elements
-Glad the present has changed
-Solo isn't on the guitar
-Some shots too long
-Like the close ups of the instruments
-Really like the Christmas scenes
-Great lyric visual relations
-Great locations
-Good instrument shots
-Pouring wine shot is too long
-Good montage
-Instruments occasionally not in frame
-Bass headstock gets in the way of guitar solo shot
-Good narrative
-Establishing shots are brilliant
-Some performance shots are too long
-Really good beach shots
-Good use of locations, costumes and actors
-Lip syncing is good

From this feedback we will change the shot of one of the band members where you can only see part of his guitar as we got this feedback from rough cut one and rough cut 2. We have also had several comments on the length of some of our shots. We will change some of these shots and add in new shots to make sure we have shorter shots.

-Cuts well timed
-Nice framing and continuity
-Like the bird over the sea
-In instrumental with guitar solo, couldn't really see the hand playing the guitar
-Interesting locations and shots

From this feedback we are going to change the elements that people did not like or did not think worked well. We will change the shell shot in this rough cut as we also do not think that it works well in the video and does not help the narrative flow properly. To replace any shots of the narrative that we change we may also add in more band shots, as that was some of the feedback we got.
